Miss·ng Pages

When we finally do figure out how to go back in time, will it only be to study how we moved forward in the first place? Perhaps it will only be to punish those who we thought we were unable to punish? Maybe it will be the only method we find to redeem ourselves?

Jerome Oliver gives us his take on the usually overdone story of man discovers time travel, man screws up future, man tries to make things right with space-time. Mr. Oliver shows us every moment is captured, frozen in time, yet in full motion. His short story is compelling and complete.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

Altoids Earphone Case

I recently purchased an iPhone and to be quite frank, I haven’t been able to put it down. I’m constantly using it to check my e-mail, play games, and to listen to music.

The only complaint I have is the lack of cable management. It seems that every time I reach for my earphones, they’ve managed to cling to every other wire within their vicinity.

To combat this issue, I’ve taken a page from the Lifehacker manual and rolled my own earphone case out of an Altoids tin and the foam backing from a grout sponge.

Project Time: Under an hour

Project Components:

  • Altoids Tin
  • Grout Sponge
  • X-acto knife
  • Scissors

Steps:

  1. Get everything together.

  2. Remove the foam backing from the grout sponge.

  3. Using a pair of scissors, cut the foam a bit larger than the interior of the tin then insert the foam in the tin.

  4. Using your X-acto knife, cut two holes for the earphones and one hole for the wrapped cable.

  5. Enjoy your new earphone case.
